Rust-Oleum, Vernon Hills, IL | May 2021 - Aug 2021

I assisted on-set for over 15 different shoots with lighting, camera lens changes, slating, set design, product photography, etc. Whatever help the production team needed, I jumped in and helped out. I produced product photography projects by coordinating details with the brand managers and communicating with the photographer. I also edited various Rust-Oleum brand videos using Adobe Premiere Pro. Finally, I was given the opportunity to direct, produce, film, and edit a video demonstrating the professional value of the Rust-Oleum Internship Program. This video is now being featured on their company website.

Hope College Bookstore, Holland, MI | Oct 2019 - Present

I photograph merchandise for the Hope College Bookstore’s website. I use Hope College students as models to reflect the school’s notorious communal atmosphere. Then, I edit the photos using Adobe Photoshop. I devise engaging content for the items’ descriptions and upload the products to the website. Within the first year of my time at the bookstore, the store’s online sales doubled.

Online events have been especially crucial to the community during the covid-19 pandemic. I film and direct various on-campus events for Hope College Events & Conferences so that remote viewers are able to tune-in. I am also the lead technical director for Hope College Chapel services 3 times a week for over 400 remote viewers. With this, I switch between 6 camera using a TriCaster switching board. Other events include dance and music performances, plays, and sporting events.

In the media lab, I check out camera and production equipment for Hope College students. I demonstrate how the equipment operates and help them set up for filming if needed.

FONA International, Geneva, IL | June 2020 - Jul 2020

Over the course of a summer, I assisted FONA’s Marketing Director by researching and devising company overviews for 20 pharmaceutical companies. Then, I presented my market research to sales executives and communicated with them about the next steps in reaching out to the companies. I placed lead contacts of the accounts on an email contact list so that they become aware of FONA’s services. My work generated business due to engagement from the contacts I put on the email list.

As a secondary responsibility, I analyzed market insights and wrote healthcare one-pagers for different flavors. I also increased LinkedIn post engagement for an online healthcare campaign by applying social media strategies and teaching FONA employees about these strategies.

Full Scope Productions, Naperville, IL | Mar 2020 - Aug 2020

During the Covid-19 pandemic, my local church relied on technology to provide online services. I had the opportunity to learn and use professional camera equipment twice a week filming Good Shepherd Church's worship services. For their Easter service, we filmed on the roof of the church and I used gimbal equipment to enhance the production. I also assisted outside projects such as dance videos and school drive-throughs.
